Christmas Lampshades

on:Alright, alright. I admit it. These were not my idea, but my very clever husband’s. I poo pooed him, then paused and had a think. So, thanks to you guys for voting, I went ahead and bought small quantities of gorgeous Christmas fabrics to make these cheerful shades. Who knows, someone might buy one!
Japanese Fabric

on:I’m always looking at fabric: scrolling and clicking away until, hey! I love this! It’s a Japanese fabric called Wonderforest and it’s certainly that. A forest of monkeys, owls, lions, frogs, cats and snails among toadstools, trees, stars and rainbows. All on white, wavey, red and pink polka dot patches. A little one’s delight. And because of the design this can go either way – a pendant or a shade for a base. You can buy it, if you like, from Stylistic Gallery or I Love Crafty!

on:Surely not? But this is super nice. Black background, littered with gold petals. Serene salmon pink and dark red Japanese Odoriko dancers float among petite cherry blossom. Divine.
