Press! Here I am in Mollie Makes magazine – a truly scrumptious crafting publication by Future Publishing – thanks to From The Wilde. Doesn’t June Song Tea look marvellous? And in such beautiful company too.
Starting out, I would visit online shops and aspire to sell with them one day. From The Wilde was one of those gorgeous shops. But the lady who ran it seemed ever so particular… there was no open invitation to sell with her. Every artist on her site was hand picked. Then, one day, she picked me! I ummed and I ahhed, but Helen’s infectious enthusiasm, brilliant use of social media, and love for her work and sellers, reeled me in good and proper. It was an excellent decision. Helen has been getting Quincy in the press here, there and everywhere and has just won Small Business Sunday with Theo Paphitis. She deserves all the great craziness to follow!
Just a small problem! Selling my lampshades in gorgeous shops, both online and bricks & mortar, means I keep peeking at stuff and buying it! Not the best way to become profitable. I could easily plump for this quirky milk jug at Bouf, or half the shop at Tenderfoot. Goodness knows what will happen when I start selling at From the Wilde and Brighton POD (happening soon).
